On this 1937 poster, the Swiss flag flaps proudly next to smaller national flags on the ski stick. In the background, the artist created an effective advertising message using a montage of typical symbols of Swiss winter tourism: a Swissair plane, a snowy mountain top, a mountain village, a railway viaduct, a funicular, grand hotels, an ice rink and ski slopes.
