Alex Diggelmann is mainly known for designing travel posters; this PKZ poster is something of an exception in his career and happens to be a perfect example of the New Objectivity movement. It shows a slightly open PKZ clothes box, leaving it up the viewer’s imagination what’s inside. This poster shows PKZ’s pioneering attitude towards advertising in the 1930s. Over the decades, the company commissioned many masters of Swiss poster art to create its advertising.
