Annotation:
The collection of 117 "Heiligen (heilenden) Wassern" follows a series of collections which started in 1961 with the collection of spectacles "Optique Moderne". All these collections followed and emphasized a specific interest. Daniel Spoerri, together with Marie-Louise Plessen, travelled through the Bretagne searching for springs and fountains. The collecting of well waters started in July 1972 in Bêsné. In the forthcoming years 4 more journeys followed.
The book documents with photos and texts and a map the phenomenon of the "Fontaines sacrées" in the Bretagne. The book was not available at the book trade but only available in exchange with a book of own choice. (2).
