The series "The Spoils of Ward" is based on Uwe Wittwers fascination for the collection of Linda and Theodore W.H. Ward. This collection consists of 94 Dutch still lifes from the 17th century, which Uwe Wittwer, all in the exact size of the originals, transfered into his own artistic painting compositions.
