Annotation: The collection of 117 "Heiligen (heilenden) Wassern" follows a series of different collections, which 1961 began with the collection of glasses "Optique Moderne" and which always focused on special interests of the artist.
Daniel Spoerri visited together wit Marie-Louise Plessen the Bretagne searching for springs and fountains. The collecting of spring water started in July 1972 in Bêsné and four more journeys followed the next years.
